WOYWW - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday - Week 280

Good Morning Folks,

It is still morning here, but only just ... I still don't know where the time goes - really!!!

Anyway, on to the business of this fine, though fresh and definitely autumnal, morning. That is, to show for the delectation and delight of all WOYWWers everywhere what's on my workdesk this morning, which means checking in with Julia, our revered head desker, over at the Stamping Ground.
More new playthings - Aqua Tints. I've been testing them out since they were delivered last Saturday and generally having a lot of fun. So what you can see is lots of little bottles of watercolours and all the pipettes and brushes that come with them - very school science lab! At the back is a colour chart put together to remind me what's in those pots. To the left is a small selection of stamps pulled out because they might work well with the backgrounds made so far, and to the right is the lovely Penny Black stamp you can see stamped on to the green piece at the front. Up behind that is a couple of Clarity stamps already used on another background posted here earlier this week and beside these some tubs of Brushos ... it occurred to me that mixing them with Aqua Tints might create some interesting effects - see the blue piece on the right.

Basically that's it on my desk for today but I thought I'd also show you what's just to the left of it too.
This is the top tray of my trolley, close to hand and full of all things watercolour and ink related.

Before I go, I'd just like to mention that this is my 1001 post! And if you scroll up to the top of my blog you will see that I'm celebrating my 1000 post with a giveaway. I hope you will take part by leaving a comment there and so give yourself the possibility of winning.

I see it's lunchtime now ... that's the morning gone then ... so I'm off for a bite to eat but I will return with the intention of visiting as many WOYWW desks as possible.

In the meantime, I wish you a happy WOYWW day and a wonderful week ahead.

Happy Crafting,

Love playing with new goodies and the Aqua tints look like a lot of fun. I like painting with Brusho I've had mine for over 10 years (when they first hit the craft market). Have fun and thank you for sharing your desk Anita #WOYWW 49

Hi Elizabeth, I also recently treated myself to some Brusho's, love what you have tried with them.Really liking the look of the stamps to the left of your pic- most interesting! Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #38 xx

I did here that those tints were like the Ecoline inks that were all the rage once - do you know if this is the case. Not that I am buying the, I am running out of space and things are having to be left out on the counter top these days.
However, you just enjoy and experiment with them with other things ( like you did with the Brusho's).
Take care, lovely to talk (via here tee hee)
Hugs, Neet 14 xx

I used to love messing about in the science lab at school, great fun, hope you don't blow your desk up lol! Love the PB stamp on the background and I see you have some "proper" duster brushes in your trolley too. Your garden is still looking pretty, all my asters are blooming nicely and the trees look beautiful again here, but I need to tidy up and cut down all my annual veg plants at the weekend as the frost got them.

Hugs
Brenda
PS. Congrats on 1000 posts! I think I'm at about 940.

I know it isn'tthe same thing at all but when I read your post about pippetes and jars and saw them all on your desk it took me right back to a perfume making set I had when I was a little girl. My poor mum and grandma were probably really glad when I sed it all up because they had to try out all the perfumes I mixed up - they were all different colours as well (goodness knows what was in it would probably have a H&S warning on it these days. Aaah, memories... Anyhoo, thanks for the visit, glad you liked the flowers, I'm late coming round, Wednesday kind of disappeared on me and been at work today. But no work again till next Thursday!! YAY!! Have a good week, Cindy x
