WOYWW - Week 714

Hello Everyone,

Goodness, it's been quite a while! Lots of reasons most of which I will resist boring you with here. Instead here's a shot of my workdesk, such as it is, today.

As you can see I'm still working on a makeshift desk, actually a camping table,  but it's at least in what will be the new craftroom. I'll not deny there's lots to do yet. The old craft desk had served me well for something like sixteen years.
Beautiful but far too big. So, regretfully, it had to go. It's now in a local primary school and I hope the children there get as much pleasure using it as I have. It certainly took the sting out of parting with it to know it was going to a very good cause.

A new, smaller, desk has been ordered and delivered. It's flatpack so I await the help of a handyman to put it together. I look forward to posting a photo very soon.

Time for scrapping is short but I've managed a few (13 so far) pages by working in short bursts. Here's just a few.

That's Christmas and winter done with for now. The days are warming, sunshine has even been spotted hereabouts and I can feel that Spring is just around the corner. Happy days ahead!

Have a wonderful WOYWW and a fabulously crafty week ahead.

Bye for now,
Elizabeth

These layouts are lovely. I cab't wait for spring. I have a few snowdrops showing in the garden and bulbs peaking trough. Even managed to sit in the summerhouse at the weekend whilst the sun was shinning. It was quite warm in there. Hugs Mrs A.

It's so lovely to see you joining in this week. It seems so long since we had a good catch up, what with flu over Christmas and tring to keep up with my work load...I know that's a poor excuse!!. I love your LOs and it's good to hear the plans for the new craft space. Hope you're both well and happy. I will be in touch soon I promise.
Hugs,

That was indeed a beautiful old table but what a good cause it’s gone to and the smaller unit will fit so much better - you’ll still have a whale of a time crafting there! Lovely LOs as usual, you have real flair. Hope you’re keeping safe and well in your new place!

13 LO's seem a lot to me. The ones you have shown here are lovely and I try to see most at Insta that you do. Perhaps need a catch up on there but my neck is so bad I am weary at the moment.
Glad you found a good home for your much loved table.
Hope you are enjoying walks along the Prom.
Hugs, Neet xx 6

Hi Elizabeth,
Just looking at a few WOYWWers even though not blogging this week and saw your comment on Neets blog and thought must hop across and catch up. So you've moved! And a small or smaller desk is on its way.. pray it works out well for you. Still pray for you and DH each night. So glad we met.
Thanks for sharing, and may God bless you and keep you and all whom you love safe and well.
Prayer hugs, Shaz in Oz. X

Oh it’s lovely to see you, and your scrapbook pages are wonderful. I admire you using the smaller table without using it as an excuse not to do so much…also a discipline in staying tidy - although to be honest, I never think of you as an untidy crafter!

Great layouts! They must have been lots of fun to make! Out with the old, in with the new! I'm sure you will enjoy the new table as much as the old, and now children get to enjoy the old table, I'm sure it will like all the attention! You box on the side looks like it will topple any minute! Thanks for your visit, Lindart #$16
