Garden Flowers Collage

Afternoon Everyone,

It's been an absolutely gorgeous day here in sunny Ayrshire. We drove up the coast to visit the family this morning and spent a lovely couple of hours with them.

When we got home I took the camera for a walk around the garden snapping anything that caught my eye - and here's a collage of what there was to see.

The collage is made using a little programme called Shape Collage - from ShapeCollage.com - that some of you might find interesting. This is just the free trial version I'm using, and you can probably spot the logo in the right corner ... I'm debating with myself whether it's worth upgrading at a cost of $40 just to be able to create collages without that logo making an appearance. Otherwise, the programme is easy to use, it's simple to drag and drop the photos you want to collage and easy to adjust the settings to produce a variety of mixes.

This mix I liked even better than the first. These are made in the rectangle shape.
This is the circle shape.
This is the heart shape - pity that the logo is slap, bang in the middle of the collage! All the collage shapes can be saved in JPEG, PNG or Photoshop formats.

A fun way to save snaps of flowers and it would be even better if a A3 printer was available - think of the scrap layouts that you could make with these.

Right, I'm off to watch the Chelsea Flower Show and then I have plans to do a bit of crafting later on.

Hope you are having a cracking weekend :)

Take care and happy crafting,

Hi Elizabeth,

Your flowers are beautiful! Is that a columbine that I see? If so, that is the Colorado state flower.

I'm back from my trip away and am finally getting caught up with all my blogging friends.

Hugs,
kay
