What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday - WOYWW Week 359

Morning Everyone,

I was up bright and early this morning, 5.30am actually. Housework all done - for now - so no reason not to reveal what's on my desk for the delectation of WOYWWers far and near.
Yet another page kit in process. It's the same project/mission I was on last week ... choosing a photo(s) and then picking out papers that I think will work with it to create a layout. The photo on the desk is a family, one of the few to include my late father and his siblings all together taken at a wedding sometime in the 1980s. I'm thinking that I might find something in the packets of stickers that would be appropriate. I found the CD, top left, in a charity shop. It's an unabridged Alex Gray novel which runs for 12 hours - and all for 99p.

Must rush now - our gardener, Annie, will be here any minute to do the weeding. She promised sunshine and, by jingo, she has been as good as her word. I'll be planting up the herbs that have been waiting weeks for some attention. I'll be back later to do a bit of blog hopping. Looking forward to seeing what you and Head Desker, Julia, are up to today too.

Happy WOYWW,

Do you get up that early without the obligation of going to work? I sometimes think about getting up at the same time in the weekend as i do during the week so i get some much wanted extra crafting time but I can't get myself to it. happy WOYWW from Vicky #10

Wow, you did have an early start! But at least all the chores were done quickly so you have lots of lovely time to craft. That is a special photo, bet you enjoy doing the LO for that 😊💖

Great to scrap old photos, like your page kit. I have just spotted a photo of our son pinned on the notice board showing where I used to change him on the desk between two computer monitors - do you think that influenced his like of computers? BJ #17 (not #4 or #16 OOps!)

Wow that was early!! I am trying to shift my pattern a bit as I begrudge missing the light on these sunny days so I've been rising at 7/7.30. It's not so appealing when it's raining though!! That layut is coming together nicely - I often think picking the bits is the most time consuming part of any project! Happy Wednesday, Cindy #29

Mm so agree with others re the earliness of 5.30am, that Elizabeth is true dedication, in Scotland esp when not summer! argh! curl back up time for me :D
Enjoy your ganrdneing .. and spring time, I am suffering from weeding have hurt my back and wont be touching the garden for a while now..
Dr said is the spine - the linked lumbar vertebrae that joins hip joints that's why it keeps radiating out, never knew things like that could happen but you live and learn..
Good to have someone do the weeding though, and you the planting much more fun!
Thanks so much for sharing.

I am also an early riser, 4-4.30am is my normal wake up time, if I need to wake up any earlier I have to use an alarm. Lately I've been sleeping in until 7am which is awesome. I've usually got housework and dinner done by 9am which is awesome because then I can spend all day crafting if I have nothing on. That is a lovely photo of all of you, I cant wait to see what you do with it. BTW you arent umber 31 hahaha I dont know what number you are.
We have much cooler weather now so its more comfortable which is a godsend, its been a hot horrid summer this year

Is it the sunshine that made you an early riser this morning Elizabeth? It certainly puts a spring in my step when I waken to see it streaming in through the windows. (Also shows up the dust - bah humbug! tee hee)
What a good idea to use the photograph to select the accompaniments - enjoy your crafting and your planting.
Hugs, & thanks for your visit - I was out and about yesterday.

Oh my that us early in the morning. I would be asleep for use then. Great way to make a scrapbook pages up its usually the embellishments that get us stuck sometimes. Have fun in your garden I can finally create some of mine but the backyard finally has an area to work on and the front yard is going to be a much later process with all that will be going on out front this year so it's going to look like crap for a while while the front porch it getting fixed.
Thanks for the visit hugs Nikki 3
