What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday - WOYWW Week 357

Afternoon WOYWWers,

I've not blogged for a few days, been a bit under the weather, but today's Wednesday, and we all know what day that means ... it's WOYWW day! It's one of those days in the week I really don't like to miss ... so I've given myself a bit of talking too, got the camera out, and snapped the old desk as is today.
Back to showing just the part I'm working on. And it might look somewhat familiar too. The layout has featured before, but that was quite a few weeks ago and it was a project in process at the time. Now it's completed and the pile of stuff beside it is made up of the leftovers waiting to be put away.
The windmill embellishments are handmade. I thought they went perfectly with the theme of all the fun of the fair.
This layout was created using a Project Life pocket page. I don't do PL - would never find the time to record my life on a daily basis, or even weekly, but I have found they are a brilliant way of getting photos out of storage and into albums.
Here's both pages side-by-side as they will appear in the album.

So that's the desk for this week - a bit of a photo heavy post but light on chat which is a blessing, I'm sure.

Many thanks to everyone who left a comment last week. I did try to respond but my old PC was on a go-slow, frozen at times, so I've had to do a bit of maintenance, i.e. deleting of an awful lot of old files. The job is ongoing but it does seem a lot happier today - fingers crossed!

Happy WOYWW,

I'm having a lunchtime catch up with my fav blogs today as my curtain cutting assistant came early and I then went on to shorten the dreaded curtains first....they are all done now :-)

Oh I love your lay outs. Double pages are always very effective I find but I forget to do a double one. I'm looking at yours thinking: I must do one too.
I love the colours and the shape of the word Whee.
Happy WOYWW,
Have a great week ahead,
Blessings,
Lisca

Certainly more on your desk than on mine, sorry you have been under the weather though. My scrapping has halted at my son's birthday from last Dec as I can't decide what backing paper to use???? Oh well. Happy WOYWW BJ#51

Lovely LOs Elizabeth, I particularly love the windmills! I used to make those all the time when the boys were younger.. I'm sorry to hear you haven't been up to scratch recently, hopefully the weather will improve and make you feel a bit more Springlike. I'm glad you liked the music from the lyric, I hadn't realised it was used in a tv programme!
Hugs, LLJ 16 xxx

Love the layouts. I have some project life albums. They are quick to do and leave lots of room for easy journalling. I'm not into documenting all my life but there are memories I'd like to record and find PL is sometimes easier to do that way.

Hope you feel better soon!

Those LOs are fab - I think the yellow gives them a real lift and is so fresh and springlike. Hope you feel a bit more like you today. x Jo

Hi Elizabeth! And you thought you were late coming round to my place on Saturday. LOL Here we are ready to roll again tomorrow and I finally have a few quiet moments to visit those who popped in on me last week. I do have to be organized. Way too OCD for my own good some days. I love your layouts! And I'd never thought of combining a solid spread with a PL spread. You are brilliant!

Hope to see you tomorrow. Bob leaves early in the morning and I think blog visits are pretty much all I plan to do tomorrow. Creative Blessings! Kelly #40
