What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday - WOYWW Week 358

Afternoon Everyone

I hope you are all having a great WOYWW day. Now that the housework is done I can join in too, so here's what's on my desk today.
Just a huge bin containing photos and a bunch of papers I've put together to make a layout for the two photos on the right. They were taken at my graduation and that was almost 20 years ago. I think it's about time I did something with them. The last few days I've been pulling photos out of that bin and putting them together with a few sheets of patterned paper ready, hopefully, to turn into layouts this weekend. Well, that's the plan but I am the world's slowest scrapper so we shall see.
And just for fellow WOWWYers that like to see how messy my desk is here's the long view. Note, my furry friend is absent today. She's out enjoying the fresh air even though it's an exceedingly dull day - no sunshine for her to bask in :(

Once again, many thanks to all comments left last week. I hope I got back to you all but if I didn't I apologise and I'll try to do better this week.

Good morning Elizabeth and happy WOYWW. I so love your desk o much to see no great paper choice for your layouts.....not to worry I am also a super slow when it comes to layouts. I am always changing my mind or not finding exactly what I want in my stash. I can not wait to see how your layouts turn out. Have a beautiful week Hugs ~Anne #38

Hi Elizabeth, I've never taken up scrapping, because I know I'd never keep it up. I'd do one or two, then I'd keep putting it off! Loving the papers you've chosen though. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #3 xxx

Your not the slowest Scrapbooker ever I promise. Since you hadn't started it doesn't count. I started Scrapbooking our Disney trip as soon as we got back. And I'm still working on it. Maybe have a little over half done. And we went in the spring of 2011!!! Lol
Have a great day.

good luck getting the scrap booking done... it should keep you occupied a while if you have 20+ years worth of things to do... but take time to enjoy it. Thanks for the long view - looks ok to me!! Helen #1

I put my hand up for the slowest scrapbooker ever award. I have so many pictures waiting around to be scrapped it is just ridiculous. I really should get moving on them. It would be such a shame if they never got done. I have such good intentions. Sigh.

Your desk looks ready to go!

Have a great week

Hi Elizabeth, I'm getting tired now but still need to do more visits. I've been busy today and so I'm late trying to finish. I love to see people scrapbooking but know I would never keep it up so don't do it. Have a great week and a happy crafty woyww, Angela x 16

It's tough to do housework when you just want to play and have fun. Ive tried some scrapbook in but that was just years ago and I perfer to create cards instead hugs Nikki 5

Oh heck, I am slow at so many things and am glad I don't scrap although I have two piles of photos waiting to go in some kind of album. Guess the children will be grown up by the time I get around to doing something.
Nice to see you 20 years ago.
Hugs, Neet 2 xx
ps FS - problems getting people to have her these days, her journey is almost at an end

Sending scrap booking wishes your way. I have a box of good intentions that I just keep by passing, maybe yours will inspire to open the lid again! :)
Happy Creating!

I do hope you work out that layout soon, it can be very frustrating when you decide to tackle something and you can't get the right papers.
Thanks for visiting my page, and yes I did vaguely think about trying to contact you to see if we could meet up, but the days before we got away were so busy, I just did not get round to doing anything about it. Maybe next time.
Sorry I'm so late returning your visit, internet access in our house has been as bad as when we were away, but sorted now.
