Friday Smile - The Witches, The Black Cat and Pansies!

Morning Everyone

My Friday Smile on a Friday ... I must be doing something right :) Annie is hosting Week 39 of her Friday Smile blog feature - a brilliant idea that encourages me, for one, take stock and count my blessings at least once a week, and in a busy life that's something I frequently struggle to find the time to do. Don't we all?

Last week it was my lovely grandson and great grandchildren, thanks Annie for featuring the fun snap of Rhian cuddling up to her Uncle Alun ...
... this week it's pansies. I know, from the sublime to the ridiculous but this really did make me chuckle. Some witty gardener had the foresight to sew black and orange pansies together in time for them to be in bloom for Halloween! And here they are on display at Gardenwise garden centre at Dumfries, complete with three witches and their broomsticks, cauldron and, of course ...
... the obligatory black cat. How brilliant and fun is that :))

Incidentally, and I wish this was smelly-vision, the perfume from the huge display of pansies and violas was absolutely delicious.

Now, it's your turn. What made you smile this week? Whatever it was, do share it with us - just pop over to Annie's and add your link :)

Oh, and as the weekend starts here, I wish you all an enjoyable weekend.

Oh Elizabeth thats really brilliant. I need some winter pansies for the planters on the front of our house and now I'm sorely tempted to plant them up orange and black lol.

Goodness. That is some incredible person who came up with that combination. And the display is to die for, too. Yes, it really made me smile, and Bleubeard was glad to see a frightfully adorable black cat, too.
