I hope you have all had a better day than we have had here. It's poured down most of the day but the sun did sneak a look in later this afternoon which cheered us up no end.
A quick post, this one. The EM put in a request for a bookmark recently and whilst hunting round for ideas
when I spotted the lovely Di's at Pixie's Crafty Workshop magnetic bookmarks - you can see them here .
When I was thinking of how I could decorate the bookmarks and was sifting through my box of tiny stamps I decided I would take the opportunity to play with some of the many tiny stamps, the new ink pads and even some of the embossing powders that I had stashed away. So here they are, most sponged with Tim Holtz's distress ink pads or Big & Juicy pads and stamped up with stamps that were small enough to fit, many of them freebies from Craft Stamper but there are stamps from Crafty Individuals, Lavinia, Claritystamps, Stampin' Up, Tim Holtz, Nellie Snellen and even a couple of wood-mounted from Hobby Art - the 'Alan' and the aeroplane. The lovley pink embossing powder was a find at the SECC Glasgow show (sorry no name on the jar and I can't remember on which stand I found it ) and the green one is a Sheena Douglass WOW powder. I won't list all the materials used for this - the list would be far too long - but I'd be happy to answer any queries.
The eagle-eyed amongst you will see that there are eleven bookmarks - I did make a dozen but the EM has already laid claim to the twelfth - he's quality testing the product, of course :) Many thanks to Di for the gift of some of the magnets to try out - they are very easy to apply and work perfectly - hugs to you, you're a star!
