What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday - WOYWW 274

Good Morning Deskers and Fellow Bloggers,

It's Wednesday and so time for a bit of vicarious pleasure by virtue of Julia's seriously successful weekly blog hop, What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday. In fact it's WOYWW Week 274 already! So without much further ado I'll show you mine, you show me yours :)
Much the same muddle as usual, all that changes are the items I manage to accumulate around me. Centre stage today is that box of plant labels ... my garden in an empty ice-cream carton :) While I was sorting through them yesterday, looking for the names of the flowers I'd picked and plonked in a vase  ... there's absolutely no hope of me remembering the names ... it finally occurred to me that I am going to have to organise them into some sort of notebook/album and thus make this, now weekly, task easier! To the left, a couple of items the postie delivered, the latest edition of Craft Stamper and some twinchies/twinchie stamps from Ali Reeve that proved irresistible - you see, no will power! Further to the left, the scrapbooking kit ... another page done but still working my way through it. To the right, the most recent snippet card completed ... it's still lying there on top of its leftovers - yet more snippets!!! Behind that another decoupaged rose on top of a couple of gelli plate prints and cardstock ... I have a plan ... and yet another empty ice-cream carton, this one holding more gelli plate prints ... more plans!!! At the back, if you've been here on previous Wednesdays you've seen it all before ... except the trellis punch, out because it was used for that snippet card.

Usually this is where I sign off but I thought I'd show you two more photos.
First - the sewing desk ... it's a while since I showed it. That's a tablecloth in the making ... I just have to seam around the edges and that's it done. Beneath that is a pair of trousers waiting to be taken in at the waist - yippee :) The floral thingy at the back is a tiny ironing pad ... it's a twofer ...the other side is a cutting board.
And finally this! Another corner of the craft room. That's The Boss claiming a bit of 'me, me, me' time while I was watching some scrapbook process demos on YouTube yesterday evening ... you can just see the fading light beyond the sycamore tree through the window.

And that really is it for this week. It's 7.30 in the morning here and I've not had my breakfast yet, or a cuppa even. So I'm away to put the kettle on but I will be back later to check out as many WOYWW desks and deskers as I can manage today.

In the meantime, have a fabulous day and Happy Crafting,

Lots of lovely things on your desk this week...the flowers are really pretty! I love the fact that your snippets have made snippets...what is the point where you decide that you can't use them anymore?!

Great to come and visit you with my WOYWW hat on - haven't been here for ages and it's good to catch up with what's happening with crafty friends. I wish I had a sewing area as well. Got rid of my machine years ago and have often hankered after getting a new one, but still resisting. Thanks for sharing your workspace today. Hazel, WOYWW, #34 x

My word, but you are busy there, Elizabeth. Lots to see - and puss taking full advantage of the fact that you are sitting relaxed in front of your computer!
Take care. God bless.

Your room looks great. I can see an order to the bit and pieces! The rectangular ice ream containers are a great idea to corral things.
Ours are circular...shall have to research what others types of ice cream come in...as we do buy it for the kiddies when they are here!

Not in WOYWW this week. Will start back once fully home from the lake and back into my regular Fall Winter routines...
Thanks for the peek into your crafting space!

Hi Elizabeth,
what a very well used desk with lots of crafty items ready for use.
My DH always says to me how do you create in such a small space on you desk, as I too have lots, and lots of bits of stash on my craft desk.
Just wish I had the room for 2 more desks, and they would be filled up too.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Hi Elizabeth, sounds like an early morning. Since I retired I don't do that anymore though I do have some late mights.
Love the look of your work space, very nice.

You made me smile holding the boss whilst surfing the net, it happens that way here too. They who must be obeyed have to have mandatory cuddles. Nice craft stash too. I hope you have a happy creative week.

I like the real life space! Oh and that red and white gingham is going to make a great tablecloth! Thanks for the smile this morning. :-)

Now I always thought of you with short hair. How strange how we imagine one another. I have a set of those drawers (cream) in my room.
You have your flower book there and I have my bird book to hand. Not that I see many different birds these days, in fat my garden has not seen as many this year.
Hugs, Neet 16 (I am like the White Rabbit in Alice - always late - thanks for your earlier visit).

Now something looks interesting in the top right hand corner. Is it the gelli plate prints?
You have my favourite magazine there! Unfortunately, we are two months behind here! If only I was organised enough to subscribe :)
Have a good week and thanks for visiting earlier, much appreciated.

Hi Elizabeth

I hope you are well.

Things have started to calm down a little here and I am enjoying catching up with the world again.

Loving your craft space and the variety of projects you have on the go. Great craft space.

Am I right in thinking that the walls have hearts on?!?!? Massive envy if you do!!

Hope you are having a good week.

Love Jules xx

Hi Elizabeth,

I love the photo of your kitty looking over your shoulder, wanting a snuggle while you're watching the screen. It's funny, but I always thought you had short hair.

Your desk looks nice and busy and the tablecloth will be very cool; love the red and white fabric.

Not playing along this week but wanted to visit a few people.

Happy belated WOYWW
Peace,
Kay
