In A Vase On Monday - Something Completely Different

Morning Everyone,

And it's a gorgeous morning here too. This has to be the quickest post ever because I'm catching a bus this morning. If you've read yesterday's post you'll know that my husband had a pacemaker fitted last week and today he has an appointment to have the wound checked. He's not allowed to drive, hence the bus! Anyway, on to the real reason for this post - Cathy's In A Vase On Monday.

Gathered and arranged plonked in something of a hurry, it's a bit of a messy vaseful (is that even a word???) today.
I went for something completely different this week - pink asters and a tendril of late flowering clematis Montana with eucalyptus and black elder (sambucus nigra Black Beauty).
The clematis has been surprising - still flowering in October

So that's my vase this week - messy but beautiful nonetheless. If you have enjoyed this post, and would like to see what others have in their vases today, do please pop over to Rambling in the Garden where you'll find plenty links to many more beautiful arrangements.

What a glorious shade of pink the asters are and thank you for including that late clematis flower too - I noticed odd blooms on one I passed recently too. Hope all went well for your husband's check-up

It's lovely. I'd be very happy to have clematis flowering now.
