What's On Your Desk Wednesday - The 400th WOYWW

Morning Everyone,

Here we are at the 400th episode of the weekly snoop around the desks of so many crafters brought to us by our Head Desker Julia of What's On Your Desk Wednesday fame. Although I missed last week I just had to join in today to celebrate, together with all of you lovely peeps who regularly show all - deskwise of course - for others vicarious pleasure, such an amazing achievement!
On my desk this week I have the beginnings of a scrapbook layout and I've only just realised that the photo is very Julia too. Her profile pic over at the Stamping Ground has clearly had a subliminal effect!

I've pulled out some very old, but much loved, Graphic45 papers as seen in the basket at the back. The colours are just right for an autumnal photo even though it's a Christmas themed paper pack. Underneath the layout that's my 69 to 70 year album - there has to be a better title for that album but I've yet to think of it. So far I've printed up several weeks worth of photos but otherwise there's been little progress on it - I'm easily distracted.

Talking of distractions, I'm now off to check out all the 400th desks,

Have a very happy WOYWW and a great week.

It IS very Julia-esque!! I think I've taken a photo of me and Gordon rather like that too...see, her influence is everywhere, lol!! I think that it's going to look great though.
Happy 400th WOYWW and thanks for all you friendship over the past few years. Getting to know you has been a real pleasure - our paths wouldn't have crossed otherwise!

Blimey, you're on to me. I was hoping to deliver my message to you all subliminally, but over the years I too have become terribly distracted! It's a lovely photo I must say and perfect paper, will make it a treat of a page to get finished!

Ha! I'm an expert in distraction! I think it comes with the territory, or age, or stash or is it me!!!

Hi Elizabeth. Happy 400th. Enjoy finishing that page - you've made a great start there.
Thanks for the visit and the comments. Yes, it is good to have all these friends around the globe - just think of the world tour we could take!! lots of places and people to visit... hmm, now there's an idea. I think I have met nearly 20 of the group so far.... the challenge is, how many more can I see?
Take care. God bless.

What a lovely image - can imagine how the LO will look when you have finished using gorgeous Graphic 45 papers. Lush!
Wonder what the number of WOYWW was when first we met? I am sure we have clocked up quite a few desks over the years. After-all you also got involved with Flat Susan many many moons ago - oh what fun we had with her and her travels. Such a shame it came to such an abrupt ending.
Thanks for the friendship, virtual or not, it makes no difference.
Love

Hello Elizabeth - lovely LO. I have such a lot of paper I should use up!!! Sorry to be late visiting but yesterday got a call to tell me mum was admitted to hospital. She went to get results and they kept her. There were a lot of phone calls going on - mum doesn't live nearby I was so tired afterwards and went to bed - but I didn't sleep. Thank you for your lovely comments.

Hi Elizabeth,

Your scrapbook layout looks nice. I had to laugh after you mentioned the photo and Julia's on her blog. Very interesting!

Once I'm settled I'd love to get some photos of my family and do something with them.

Happy 400th WOYWW
Peace,
Kay (37)

Hi Elizabeth, While I think of it, you are number 27, not 28. Think several people had their number change.

Your LO looks good. I really should get back to doing them.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving your kind comments.

Like you a lot of us were influenced by that photo of the shadow. When I look at a shadow it makes me think of Julia. Good luck with the layout
