A bit late. In fact Friday is almost over. It's been a catch up day - washing, ironing, etc., etc. It's always the same when we've been away but we had a lovely holiday so well worth it. I have a few photos from our trip around the Peak District.
The view from Monsal Head, one of the loveliest I've ever seen.
Monsal Viaduct |
The EM still smiling even when we were caught in a very long traffic jam on our way into Buxton.
We stopped for a coffee in Matlock and found a couple of ladies knitting away.
Unfortunately, we weren't there long enough for me to knit a square though I do wish I could have contributed to such a good cause.
I'm keeping this post brief because I'm writing this on my mobile phone and it's not easy.
Have a wonderful weekend wherever you are and whatever the weather.

OMGosh, what a coincidence, we arrived home yesterday from a lovely holiday in the Peak District! We walked to Monsal Head one day, went to Matlock another day and on Thursday spent the day in Buxton. What a small world! TFS your photos. xx
We've had some lovely walks near Monsal Head - fab views. xx Jo
Lovely views of the green valley and viaduct.
The knitted squares is a good idea. I hope a lot of the 'locals' gave their support. I don't suppose passing visitors were there long enough to knit a square.
Well done doing a post on your phone. I am all fingers and thumbs on mine, and can't do anything properly except read messages and browse Facebook. Kate xx
