Forever Friends - Attempting to Bust a Kit

Hello and Happy Sunday to you all,

I hope you are having a great day, and for those of you in areas where the temperatures are soaring, and that's even my wee corner of paradise today, I hope you are keeping cool :)
Some weeks ago I was lucky enough to win one of Docraft's goody bags, and it included a sweet little Forever Friends kit. I made one birthday card at the time but then left it to the side of the desk ... that black hole where an awful lot of stash disappears into. Came the day it surfaced again and I thought I should try to do something to use it up.
And because I was in stash-busting mode out came a pile of fancy edged card bases that have lingered too long in the craft space.
And there is the box of manila labels that time forgot! Well, actually I just keep forgetting they are there :(

So there we are, two cards and a tag made, in super fast time, and there's still plenty supplies left to make a good few more ... I could be some time.

And because it's the men's finals over at Wimbledon today, not to mention Barbara Gray day on C&C TV, and I'm a wee bit pressed for time I'm not going to list materials used. However, I'll just mention that a few snippets of pink cardstock were used, and that means I can take a trip over to Pixie's Crafty Snippets Playground - Week 80. I think all that pink in the first card is sure to appeal to Miss Di :)

Time for lunch and then, as it is too hot, I'm planning to be in the craft space, with the telly on so I might just be too distracted to get much crafting done but my intention is good :))

Take care everyone and happy crafting,

These look wonderful Elizabeth. The one card and tag could be sued as a set and the other thankyou card is so sweet!
Those fancy card bases are beautiful. I am coming to England in August and I am buying cards to take home. Fancy edged, big card that you can't get here!

Have fun busting through that lovely kit!

I'm so lovin' your cuddly chubby lil' bear fella. And great designs on your cards & tags. Good for you, to rescue these beauties from the black hole. Hope it didn't get too awful hot where you are. We've been seeing 94's, and the New England folks claim this is unusual hot for 'round here. (Was hot like this 3 yrs ago, last time I visited, and no a/c then. Thankfully they do have some now, but even the stores we went in, were hot, with the a/c going.) Hugs & TFS

Very cute projects Elizabeth. Not a tennis fan so I didn't watch although I am very pleased for Andy that he won. I was too busy watching the Tour de France :o)

Thank you for visiting me! Some great stash busting cards there. I've got some of those fancy edged cards lurking somewhere but every time I try to use them they really don't look right so get put away again!

Two beautiful cards Elizabeth (of course I loved all the pink on the first one!) and such a lovely tag too. I also have a 'shove it to the right' black hole on my desk here :)

I think I heard you shouting all the way down here yesterday - a great win for Andy!

Hugs, Di xx
