WOYWW 266

Afternoon WOYWWers, Followers, Friends ...

... and well, everyone who drops in to see what's on my desk today.
It's tidy! That's because there's not been a lot of crafting activity going on. I have good intentions ... just not getting around to them yet. For example, I plan to create a scrap page with that black and white photo. It's the next one from the pile of over-sized photos I'm working my way through. And I plan to use patterned paper from the box under the photo. It's full of A4 size (approx 8"x11.5") papers, all magazine freebies. Then there's the MDF letters - I have plans to paint and decorate them. The polystyrene ball - I have plans to use it to stuff a crocheted Amigurumi penguin ... that's when my hands are less of a pain and I can get the crochet hooks out again. The little blue pot contains masking fluid ... acquired for the watercolouring class. Never used this stuff before so this could be an interesting technique to try out.
From L-R: Shaz (Silverwolf); Julia (WOYWW Head Desker); Debbie (tatteredrocks)
MaggieC (Silvercrafter); Kyla (Lilpidge); Jan (Lunch Lady Jan)
And last, but definitely not least, six fabulous ATCs received only recently ... the postie took the scenic route :) Anyway, thank you ladies - I'm delighted to receive them and, here I go planning again, just as soon as things get back to normal at Casa Worthington I'll be looking for the best way to display them here ... they are far to decorative to leave tucked away.

Okay, that's my desk for this week. If you want to see many more, much more interesting, desks than mine do pop over to Julia's Stamping Ground - join in too, everyone's invited.

Take care everyone and have a happy WOYWW,

Hello Elizabeth,
Love your black and white photo and I can't wait to see your layout. I'm so behind in my scrapbooking. My printer is getting old. I'm going get my photos printed for me and my local photo shop. I don't like my photo just being on my computer. I enjoy looking through my photo albums.
You have a lot of neat projects lined up and those ATC cards have beautiful images. Happy crafting!
Blessings,
Bobbie Lynn

Good afternoon, lovely b/w photo you have there. I have some of my maternal grandmother's brothers and sisters taken before she was born. I want to use them at some point! My FH research is extensive so I'm leaving it alone for a bit so I can go back with fresh eyes. Lovely to see you here! Take care Zo xx 29

You have some interesting things there, Elizabeth. You must share the finished Home letters, I did the same ones for my mil when she moved and enjoyed them so much I want to do one for us when I get time. Hope you can get back to your crochet soon.

That really MUST have been scenic if those ATCs have only just got to you! They were posted ages ago :-)
Lovely desk, nice to see an old black and white shot ready to be used. Too many of my pics are shut away in a drawer...sigh...
I hope you can take up your crochet hooks before too long. Have you tried the fatter handled hooks? Apparently, they put less stress on your wrists.
Hugs, LLJ 21 xx
