Wow you've a head for a hat! My mother in law (lives in Peebles in the Borders) is the same - I think she scopes out weddings to go to just so she can buy a new hat! lol! Thanks so much for sharing your photo with us and joining in all the Anniversary fun! I love your little love-owls,too and the soft pretty colours!
Don't you two look a lovely couple and that lovely auburn hair too. mind you I love your silver locks now too. Just wait until you see mine soon from almost 47 years ago. Still happy together and I bet you are too.
The quilts are only small and needn't be complex so have a practise sew and see if you fancy a go at one! Thanks for even thinking of it!

I absolutly love your card! Great pic of you and the DH. We will hit 40 yrs this coming October. People think the weeks fly by, but I'm not sure where the 40 YEARS have gone LOL

Oh, Elizabeth, I'm in a snit! Or I'm totally losing it! I swear I left a comment here. Before I responded to all the many comments leaving well wishes on my posts, last week I visited everyone that linked at Ardyth's. I don't know what happened to yours.
Today I am getting to the comments and I only just came by to look at your original WOYWW (finally!) and first I looked at the comments here to see if I had mentioned about linking your photo, in addition to your card. My mouth fell open when I didn't see a comment AT ALL from me here.
So. My dear, thank you VERY much, so much, for dedicating a special post to me and Mister and our anniversary. Thank you, too, for your sweet wishes in the comments on my blog.
And thank you, especially, for the darling owl card made just for us! I absolutely love it! I have pinned it to a Pinterest board I've set up for all our cards.
You must think I'm so rude and I don't blame you! I did take some time off the computer to celebrate so that's why I am just now checking out the WOYWW posts.
