WOYWW - Week 560

Hello Everyone,

Wednesday again and, at last, I can report that it's a lovely day. There's fluffy white clouds in a blue, blue sky and the sun is shining. It's still chilly out there but it feels like spring in my craftroom and, given that it's Julia's What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday, here's what's on my desk today.
I admit I've tidied up after the cyber crop that took up much of my weekend. Working against the clock leads to nothing but chaos here in my room. The pile of empty Stampin' Up DVD boxes are a new acquisition, just delivered yesterday. I've been increasingly frustrated with my stamp organisation or, more correctly, lack of organisation - it had got well beyond useful. Spotting Sarah's beautifully organised stamp storage last week was just the inspiration I needed to do something about it. Time to get sorting - I just have to decide where to begin!

The layout is my interpretation of the fifth challenge from the weekend. Appropriately for today, the subject is WOYWW.
Crops 2017, 2018 & 2019 recorded with the group photos for each year. Those photos of so many happy, smiling ladies, are reminders of how much fun these get-togethers are.

I've been slowly sorting through stuff since the start of the year.
I've re-jigged the contents of this trolley and now I have all my packs of alphabets in the one, easy to access, place. They are filed, more or less, by colour - very helpful.
And now I have the mixed media/painty stuff on one shelf and markers and pens on another.  So much better than being spread about all over the place.

And finally - a few posters that have made me smile this week.

That's it from me this week. I'm off now to see what Julia and our fellow deskers have been showing us today.

Take care everyone and have a great week ahead.

Isn't it lovely to see a bit or blue sky today...it's the same here off and on between showers of rain/sleet/snow!! You look to be having a good sort out...I love knowing exactly where to put my hand on everything I need. I love the WOYWW LO....haven't we had some lovely times together....it won't be long until the next one :-)

It's gorgeous here too! I've got washing on the line, done a bit of tidying outside and G and I have just had a walk down the harbour and beach. The sunshine just makes you feel better! I love the WOYWW LO, such great memories there of fantastic friends who I'm so grateful to have met.
And the funnies at the end made me hoot - the coffee one is perfect for Shaz and the yarn one...well, I'm not saying who that could apply to...cough...

You are beautifully organised, and it's a great idea to store stamps in DVD boxes. Good luck with the sorting, it will feel great when it done.
Love the crop layout too, great photos and lovely memories to look back on.
Had to laugh at the Yarn shop one - I am very good at just feeding the stash!
Have a great week,

It's sunny here today (Thursday) after waking to a white winter wonderland.
Well, Elizabeth, you certainly seemed well organised and I love the layout you have done for the WOYWW group at the crop.
The posters are good fun too and I so agree with the scissors one.

Sorry I’m late! Love the LO Elizabeth - I’ve largely been off FB since Christmas and realise that I’m missing lots of fun challenges - although I’m not very good at the timed ones! I keep my Alphas sorted by colour and it has helped a lot actually, especially in terms of using them up - am trying to resist buying more and only using my Scan N Cut. It’s hard! Good luck with the stamp storage, I love it when seeing an idea elsewhere sparks an intention!
