Friday Smiles

Afternoon Everyone,

It's Friday afternoon and as usual I'm linking up with Annie at A Stitch in Time to join in with her Friday Smiles meme.

It's been another busy couple of days here at Casa Worthington but I can report that the we now have a guest bedroom - the games room is no more! My husband decided it was an underused games room so it was time to have a makeover. Result, a week of redecorating for himself - he's never happier than when he has a paintbrush in his hands - a furniture sort out, a new bed installed and, as he says, voila!

No photos of the room but here's a couple of photos, some of you might have already seen them on Facebook, of our lovely little great-grandson, Callum. He's not yet 5 months but he's doing well and an absolute joy - always smiling and chuckling.

In his car seat and watching his favourite TV cartoons and totally absorbed.

And here's a lovely shot I've been meaning to post on Friday Smiles for a while. It's of my husband's great-great niece ... yes, he's that old :) ... Freya taken a few weeks ago on her first day at school.
If only we could all look that cheerful in the rain!

Now to today's funnies.

This one rang so true!

And so did this one!

Hope you've had as many reasons to smile this week and wishing you a very happy week ahead.

Hi Elizabeth,

Your great grandson is adorable. Interesting that he's so focused at five months! Although never having children I'm not sure what the developmental timeline is. Love the photo of Freya on the way to school. I don't think I ever had a smile on the first day as I was always scared.

LOVE the comics! I really feel weird when I buy fabric because I don't even sew!!!

Happy Friday and I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Happy Friday Elizabeth -oooow a room make-over - handy husband, I'm glad mine is too as I have a few projects we're going to be tackling. Great pics of Callum and dear Freya. Great 'fun' captions - I believe are true. Have a wonderful weekend Robyn

Does your husband mind travelling south to work? Wallpaper and stuff is already here, the ceiling is done and one coat of the skirting boards has been done. Just need help and time getting it finished!!
Gorgeous piccies of the little ones.

Oh what a lovely husband you have! Can I borrow him? My husband is building me a house but he hates decorating.
Callum is very cute. As someone else has mentioned, he is focused and absorbed.
Little Freya is as pretty as a picture in her red coat.
Oh the funnies had me giggling too.
Happy Friday,

Lovely photos of both the children Elizabeth. It looks as though your lovely hubby could be fully booked for the next few months. We did do our own decorating a long time ago, but we are going to have to find 'a man who will' if the sitting room is ever going to get done! Kate x
