Christmas Card Club - Card 20/2019 - Anything Goes - and Computer Update

Hello and Happy Sunday Everyone

I hope you are having a lovely weekend. Many thanks for taking the time to check out today's post - your visit is much appreciated.

The challenge for today's Christmas Card Club, set by Lorraine, is 'icicles'  but I don't have anything appropriate in my stash, instead I'm going with the usual fallback of 'anything goes'. I've made four cards from the set of foiled Christmas toppers that is a gift with this month's Creative Stamping magazine.

It took only two sheets of toppers to make these four cards. The only extras needed to make the cards were the white card bases in different shapes and sizes, some scraps of cardstock in shades of blue and light green, and adhesives.

There's also a Christmas themed stamp set with the magazine. The set of card toppers are only available with the magazine on sale at Tesco.

Some of you may be interested in a follow-up to the computer problems experienced through the week. Short story is that it's gone and I am now getting used to a brand, spanking new HP Slimline 290 tower.
It's tiny - about a third of the size of the previous one - saving on space yet more powerful. I'm still adding software to get everything back up and running. It takes time but, so far, I love it, and I'm so happy to be able to post again.

That's it for CCC today but I hope you will pop over to see what my teammates have created for today's theme - many of them with icicles. You'll find a list of their names and links on my right sidebar - as always they are so much more creative than me.

Your cards are so pretty Elizabeth, lovely designs and images. I'm a great fan of Creative Stamping mag, I always find the stamps are excellent to use, but this month it looks a bumper issue with these lovely toppers, Kate x

Hi Elizabeth. What lovely cards you have created with those beautiful toppers. I got the stamps with mine but certainly no toppers and I subscribe to it. Glad to hear you are back in cyber space again. It does take a wee while uploading everything again. I'll be in touch. Hugs Rita xxx

Great toppers on your lovely cards Elizabeth. I'm just about to go through the pains of a new computer. It should be here on Wednesday. I'm dreading it but luckily my husband is very computer savvy so I'll just leave him to get on with it for me. Husbands come in handy sometimes ... lol! Hugs Christine x

What a fabulous freebie kit and you have created lots of gorgeous cards with it for my challenge this time. Sorry I'm late commenting but things and time have run away with me this week so my card was late too I'm afraid.
