What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday - Week 532

Good Morning Everyone

Whizzday's here again and I'm not ready for today's WOYWW. It's been a busy week, lots of birthdays to celebrate, family to visit and we're into the third week of the MTS challenge. With these challenges, as Julia, our Head Desker, mentioned in her post on Friday, layout output increases but sadly, so too does the mess on the desk. However ...
... I tidied up on Sunday, sorted through photos and papers, and got all my ducks in a row ready for a new week .Almost too nice to mess up again don't you think?
I needed a circle for the layout I'm currently working on so I took the opportunity to try out the circle cutter (bought ages ago and never tried out). It's much easier to use than I anticipated - I just had to remember where I stored the glass cutting mat! The resultant circle wasn't as thin as I wanted but die cutting with one of the nesting circle dies worked a treat.

Yesterday, Rita, RMG Creations, visited us and I just had to share this beautifully decorated goody bag she brought with her. We had a great day together - we had lots of catching up to do. Unfortunately, I forgot to take any photos, and me a scrapper!

No book bit today. It's not hat I haven't been listening to some good books but just that I haven't had time to prepare. Another week, perhaps. Instead I'll do a Shaz with an
... And

... Finally.

Afternoon Elizabeth. Wonderful "and finally". I simply devour books - can be found over the breakfast table with my head in a book, over the lunch table, in bed, in the caravan... Love 'em!! Glad you had such a great day yesterday - even without photos.
Take care. God bless.

Good Afternoon Elizabeth. Now that is one tidy desk. I can understand how you feel not waning to use it, but it has to be done if you want to get on with your projects. It certainly was the most enjoyable day yesterday and the weather too was on our side. I'm back in my craft room today and already started a new mess, but I'm happy. Have a Good Week. Hugs Rita xxx

I have a stamp with that bookworm sentiment Elizabeth. It is part of a set from Darkroom Door called 'Bookworm'. Glad you and Rita had such a good time together it is a beautiful goodie bag. Love the tidy desk and your experiments with cutting circle frames. Happy WOYWW. Sarah #9

A great 'And Finally ...' - made me smile and I needed it today.
Lovely to read that you and Rita spent a day together and what a beautiful gift bag she made for you. I still remember some of the lovely makes you two used to do.
I have a very simple circle cutter - it is an orange plastic thing, really easy to use and quite effective. No idea where it came from sadly but at least your dies made a good job of doing it for you.
Hugs, Neet 1 xx

I love a good book - if I am not to tired to read it! I shall catch up with a few waiting on my bedside table when Max is away at the end of the month and I have a few days to chill!! Your workspace looks so serene and well organised. xx Jo

Well, Im currently listening to The Beekeeper of Aleppo. Art Malik narrates and his gentle voice sort of convinces you that its a story, which it is, but its about the flight or refugees from Syria, so its not comfortable. Clever. Beautiful story. Love that you’ve stopped to tidy, and no its not too good to make a mess of again, never! Lovely to know that you agree about the challenges being a help on the numbers score, although lets face it, none of us actually do it for number results. Do we? Hmmm....discuss!

Your desk looks very clean and tidy to me, mine is quite shocking at the moment and uncontrollable. It's on my September to do list right at the top!
So nice to meet up and craft with friends. I bet the chatter was super. That's a beautiful gift bag for sure. I'm sure I have one of those cutters but shamefully have never used it. Looks like it works a treat..
Thanks for sharing WoywW Hugs Tracey #14
P.S My hubby would really appreciate that and finally...

Hi Elizabeth, hmm I too have a circle cutter that I haven't used. Only problem is j have no idea where it is. No doubt it will turn up one day! Great looking gift bag, I might make some for Christmas rather than tons of wrapping paper! Love your 'and finally' - I have had my nose in books since I was a toddler! I have a kindle, but still like a paper book to settle down with. Have a lovely week, hugs Heather xx #25

I'm late getting round this week but will drop by everyone no matter what, don't like to miss anyone out. Looks like you've had a busy week too. Your work place looks great, I have had a very tiny clear up today but it still looks a mess in comparison to yours. Have a great creative week, and a happy belated woyww, Angela x15x
