WOYWW Wk 256

Morning Everyone,

It is still morning - just! And I almost forgot what day it was too!!!

Wednesday ... not just any Wednesday but only our Julia's What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday! I know I'm not the first to say this, and I won't be the last, but where do the days go? We need more days in the week to get everything done ... at least two, methinks ... of course they would be purely crafting days :)
Well, here's the desk you've probably come to see, as it is this morning. There's been plenty going on this week - when I've not been in the garden, that is. I mentioned in the previous post that I'd been doing a bit of colouring - you can see the card featured top right. I have since been creating a few more cards with those images. The pile at the top, behind the gem wheels, is all I've made so far, and those on the top of the left hand pile are waiting to be transformed into something- could be cards, or tags, or something else - I'm not too sure yet. Dies, washi tape, glues, googly eyes, ribbon, punches, card candy, leftover scraps of card, peel-offs and scissors - such a lot goes into making just a few cards. When I dusted down the box of images I found it contained a pile of gelli plate prints that I'd stashed away too ... I'm now awaiting inspiration :)

I'm keeping it brief today ... yes, sometimes I can! And, as it is raining here in my patch of paradise, therefore no gardening to distract, the plan is to visit as many desks as is humanly possible.

But first, I need a cup of tea :)

Happy WOYWW and happy crafting,

Good Morning Elizabeth,
Yes, I agree and we need more days. I keep telling my Husband the same thing, but its all good things that need to get done.
Your coloring from what I can see looks great. Like the images. I picked out a couple of stamps to stamp for some coloring. I"m making a likes of Copics to add to my set. I think I'm going to add some yellows, oranges, browns and greens (fall is around the corner).
Good to hear that you had some rain. We had one night of rain, two very cool days and now, in the 90's. The summer vegetables love it.
Enjoy the rain and Happy crafting. : )
Blessings,
Bobbie Lynn

Nice images, sometimes it is fun to just color (it's the kid in me, I know)

Oh yes a couple more days added to the week would be just fine with me too!

Happy WOYWW

Am I dreaming, have I lost my mind, (don't answer that), or have you changed your blog banner? I don't remember seeing Bonnie up there before.

Now you know why I don't make cards. It's that attention to detail and all the extras you need to make a good one. But you look quite busy (and productive) this week. Happy WOYWW from # 2.

Thank you for your visit today. I shall be very glad to see that table go. while Geoff was here, we could just handle it together, but I have not chance at all on my own, and in truth I have no intention of having large dinner parties in the future. I would head for the nearest good pub and let them cook and do all the washing up afterwards. Then I can concentrate on the important things of joining in the conversation. I need at least two ore days in the week, especially to do all the things I want to do. Hope you get everything done in your world. xx Maggie #61

Hi Elizabeth, a couple of extra days wouldindeed come in handy, I have to agree! LOL Your desk looks so clean as well as tidy... makes me want to go get the scrubber to mine but I don't think any amount will make it look quite as good as yours does! Hope the inspiration sneaks and bites you in the bum with the geli prints! :) Annette #6

I was just going to say that the watering can stamp is apt given the amount of gardening you've put in recently! Love all the bits and pieces on show today :-)
We've been hard at work in the garden too - G and the boys laid flagstones, made new compost boxes and moved the log stores and all the logs down behind the greenhouse. It has made a great area, we're really pleased with it!

Oh yes, please, please, I would love two extra days per week, and yes, they would need to be crafting days!
Thanks for dropping by and for your kind comment! I don't mind anyone peering at all the junk in the background :) If I did, I wouldn't do WOYWW :)

I could certainly do with one or two more non-working days in my week. Never enough time to do all I want!
Lovely cards in the making there too.
