WOYWW - Week 556

Morning Everyone,

And happy What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday to you all. Not that there's anything on my desk today, as can be clearly seen in today's snap.
I've been poorly, with one of those pesky bugs so prevalent in winter, so there's been no crafting done here - nothing, naught, nada, nowt, zero, zilch, zip! The layout I was working on last Wednesday - still not finished.

There is, however, a new addition to my sewing accessories though.
A pretty box of snaps. As delicious to look at as a box of Smarties - but with the bonus of zero calories! Another case of WOYWW enabling - this time it was a photo on LLK's blog that is to blame.

That's it from me this week. I'm off now to see what Julia and our fellow deskers have been showing us today.

Take care everyone and have a great week ahead.

Aha! I spy some poppers, aren't they fab? I absolutely love using mine and already half the kit has gone for the mini purses that I sell for the RNLI fund raising. You'll enjoy using those so much! I'm sorry you've been poorly though, there isn't much you get do when the bugs strike except rest and gradually improve. Hopefully you'll feel more like crafting this week.
How interesting that you know that part of London so well - we had a ball and walked out feet off exploring all the back alleys! But I'm such a country bumpkin these days, a couple of days in The Smoke is more than enough for me, I'm always happiest when I'm on the train leaving Paddington!

Sorry to hear you've not been well....I hope you didn't catch it from your visit to mine last Wednesday. I love my snaps [or as I call them poppers but don't search for those on the net ;-) ] so really hope you get as much pleasure from yours too.
In reply to your comment over at mine....the one sitting on my desk is a girl cos she has pink on her feet and I've just cut out a dress for her to wear....simple as that :-) Number 5 and 6 will be boys so that, as Theo said to me yesterday...I will them have 3 boys and 3 girls :-)
Hugs,

Hi Elizabeth, I know just how you feel, it was a cold that kept me away a couple of weeks ago, as you say, you just don't feel like doing anything. The snaps look fab, such gorgeous colours. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #3 X

Sorry you have had this bug that seems to be going around. Hurry and get well so you can get back to enjoying life and crafting.
Those poppers look good sitting there in all their bright colours and I think I spy a Laurel Burch cat card at the back of your desk. I love her work and I got a scarf which has cats just like hers on it at Christmas.
Hugs, Neet 5 xx

That LLJ has sold more boxes of snaps than the seller!! Hope you’re feeling increasingly better E, sorry to read that you’ve been struck by a thing...they do take so long to go away don’t they. How come though, that your desk is so tidy I thought you were moving. I never get the chance to clear up before a visitor, a virus or a rainstorm?!!!!
