What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday - Week 463

Morning Everyone,

Missed last Wednesday - life and all that - so just had to join in with WOYWW this week even though my desk has seen precious little crafting. The postie has been though so here's a shot of what he brought.
After months of being very, very good - not spending a penny on stash but using up what I already have amassed over the last twenty or so years - I've broken down and been very, very bad! This little order from Craftelier is just the tip of a spending mountain. I think I'm in recovery now and that will be the last for another few months. It all started with me needing a new date stamp. The old one you can see top left stops at 2016 - you can tell I don't use one very often on my layouts! Well, of course, I ended up getting not just one but two new ones and then the stamp sets just fell into my basket and it would have been rude not to order them too.

And look what was enclosed with the order - so sweet!

It's my sister's 64th birthday today so, of course, I'm off to visit her to help her celebrate. That means I won't be around for a couple of hours but I will be back later to visit and comment on as many WOYWWers as possible.

Happy Crafting,

Hi Elizabeth, love the haul. I too have one of those date stamps- probably bought it last year, every now and again I think I'm going to have a go at some art journaling, lol. I agree, it's amazing how stuff just falls into a basket! Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #8 XxX

Hi Elizabeth - oh dear, these things do happen don't they? I just don't understand how things leap of shelves or internet pages and fall into our baskets!! Great items though! I DO understand they needed a good home...
Have a great day with your sister. Happy birthday to her.
Take care. God bless.

I love how you say "It all started with one little stamp.....". I think we can all identify with that :-D. Thank you so much for all the bits and pieces you sent me, I love them all and have featured them on my blog today.
Have fun with your sister!!

Well huge happy returns to your Sissy, you’re alike. I take great pleasure in saying that because EVERYONE tells me that my younger sister and I are so alike as if it’s the first time we’ve ever heard it! You have been good with the stash use and ordering a single date stamp is a bit silly really - all that post and packing cost for just one thing? SO not cost efficient!!

Really? (couldn't resist!!)

Oh no Elizabeth you fell off the wagon!! I keep resolving to the same but I have no will power. Well, I can't spend all my money on gin can I? Hope the celebrations were FAB!! Happy Wednesday Cindy #20

Hope your Sister had a super Birthday.
A much needed purchase replacing a craft item that was no longer fit for purpose. It would have been rude not to add a few more pieces to your order and what a sweet reward of a heart shape lolly.
Thank you for sharing WOYWW Tracey #13

Great shopping spree - it does make one feel better when one shops. Well, at least that is my excuse/theory.
Have a wonderful time with your sister - happy birthday to her from me.

Hi Elizabeth, love the new stash. I had a similar situation with a date stamp, but I must admit that the one I managed to get from Poundland gets a good workout each week. It goes up to 2025 so I won't need another one soon lol. Hope you had a great day with your sister and that she had a nice birthday. Happy (belated) WOYWW. Sarah #17

Oh you've reminded me of how much I used to love posting to WOYWW! I really should try to get back to it.
Great new stash and don't forget you had been thrifty, so maybe it was time for a little new stuff.
Happy belated birthday wishes to your sister!
