Hello Everyone,
Hope you are enjoying your weekend so far. Just a quick post for a quick and easy card made after raiding the snippet boxes yet again.
Hardly any materials required for this one. A piece of white cardstock big enough for an A6 size base. I already had another embossed bit of black card of just the right size tucked away ... one of those put through the embossing machine to try out the Craft Concepts Flutterby folder, which somehow dropped into my basket a few months ago ... wonder how that happened :)
Hopefully you can see enough of the embossed detail - found it difficult to get a good photo in the decidedly overcast light - rain, rain go away...
And here's a close up the effect of the Manhattan Flower folder - gorgeous or what! Used a bit of leftover Neenah Solar white card ... this card is just perfect for embossing with this folder. Trimmed round the flower detail before adhering it on top of the black embossed base. I can see this is going to be a favourite folder to be used time and time again :)
A 12" piece of black/white saddle stitched ribbon - I cut a slit in the side of the base card and threaded the ribbon through and tied a knot. Final touch is the two flat-backed pearls.
Oops! Di's comment has reminded me that I've forgotten to mention that I'm submitting this to the Queen of Snippets , Jules, Sunday Snippets Challenge # 31. You can find her at Always With A Heart ... Jules use of snippets is quite inspirational!
Off to have lunch and then do a bit of scrapping - what better way to spend such a miserable day, weatherwise that is.
Happy Crafting to you all,

Lovely and elegant Elizabeth, never think to make black and white cards. Like that embossing folder too. I was looking at that craft store you visited in Glasgow, wow that's huge and you got some great stash.
