Sunday Snippets

Hello Everyone,

I'm not doing so bad this week, it's still Sunday and here I am with a card for Pixie's Snippets Playground - Week 201.
And because it is so late, I'm not going to go into a lot of detail on how it was made. However, I will say that the design is based on an idea I saw in a magazine, Simply Cards & Papercraft Issue 142. The topper is constructed from a combination white, green, red and gold card snippets cut with Spellbinder and Tattered Lace dies. The patterned paper is from an old paper collection, Cosy Christmas 6"x 6" pack ... I'm still trying to use up old stash before I buy new but it could be some time before I get to that point :)

The inside is trimmed with the leftover strip of the patterned paper.

Edit Note: Viv has just pointed out to me that this card fits with Stamping Sensations challenge this month - thanks for that Viv, so I'm submitting it as suggested:

Stamping Sensations November challenge - Festive Flowers and foliage

I hope you have all had a wonderful weekend.

Happy Crafting,

  4. Hi Elizabeth . . .what a gorgeous creation. Lots of lovely embellishment.

Are you coming to the Playground Bonfire Party on Thursday night? If so, meet me round the back of the bike sheds and bring something to keep out the winter cold with you.
