Hello & Good Morning,
I hope you are enjoying the Bank Holiday as much as we have, despite the weather! Happily, after a couple of days of horrid rain, today is brighter here, the sun is shining but there's a bit of a breeze going ... great for drying the washing :)
Anyway, before I go out into the garden to make hay while the sun shines I thought I'd just share this card ... that's the one that was lying on my desk on Wednesday waiting to be finished.
I decorated the front of a square Kraft card base with several snippets of Graphic 45's Christmas Emporium paper and one of the toppers that was cut from the 8"x8" paper pad. All I did was trim the pieces to fit, fiddle with them until I was happy with the arrangement and then adhered them to the front of the card. I wrapped some red paper string round the bottom of the topper before adhering it down using foam pads to create a bit of dimension. The little greeting is also on foam pads. All that was left to do then was add a few amber gems for a final touch of bling.
Nothing to it really but it did use up a ton of my treasured Graphic 45 paper snippets!
That being the case, I'm submitting it to Pixie's Snippet Playground where Sarn and Parsnip are holding fort this fortnight :)
Also Hazel's CHNC Monthly Challenge - anything goes as long as it's Christmas
Right, I'm off to pull up a few more weeds - the ground elder and couch grass, not to mention the hundreds of sycamore seedlings that have sprung up everywhere, are threatening to take over my patch!!!
Have an enjoyable day wherever you are and many thanks for taking the time to pop in :)
Happy Crafting,
Gorgeous card Elizabeth. I love this.
