WOYWW 192 - What's On Your Desk Wednesday

Hello Everyone,

It's Wednesday once again - time to show the world, and the head desk keeper, Julia Dunnit, over at the Stamping Ground, what's on my desk today.

Apart from the usual tools of the trade at the back, there's just a few bits and pieces I've been working with. From the left: a couple of ink pads, VersaMark and white embossing powder, a tiny gift card featuring one of the twinchie stamps that come free with the magazine, Craft Stamper, the two little boxes where I store all the CS freebies, gem pinwheels (2 different sizes) and a glue tape. At the front is a selection of cardstock in various shades of cream - looks a bit white in the photo but the pieces are definitely cream - and Kraft. No prizes for guessing that I am going to be attempting to make a card for the latest LIM challenge :) I have a plan :))

For those reading this who have never heard of WOYWW, but would like to know more, click this link for the Stamping Ground and you will find a comprehensive explanation. Hopefully, if you don't already, you will join in - it's not only a fun thing to do but it can be very instructive, informative and inspirational ... that's as well as being a real eye-opener :))

And that is basically it. Service was briefly interrupted this last week when a blood vessel in my right thumb burst - as described in my last post. Happily, normal service is now resumed.

As usual, I will endeavour to get around as many desks as possible - dodgy blood vessels notwithstanding. Thank you to the many of you that visit and comment - I read them all and really appreciate the time and effort taken too.

Wherever you are, I wish you all a very happy WOYWW.

Happy crafting,

  5. I did same to my finger about a month ago - it's a bit weird when it happens isn't it. I think I lifted a heavy chair awkwardly and maybe trapped or crushed my finger but it didn't hurt at the time. Hope you are back to normal now. x Jo

  10. Oh that sounds painful, Elizabeth. I'm glad you are all recovered now.
You have a very tidy desk this week but I spy those little round gem containers at the back there. They are brilliant aren't they and such good value. I've had mine years and they are still going strong.

  27. Hope your finger is now recovered enough to allow you to get on with your crafting without too much trouble. Thanks for your visit. I have taken a long time to get back as I am very busy trying to get all my Clarity stamps catalogued and cross referenced on the computer - a major job, but at least I can say that all of them have had ink on them. Once they are done, then I can work through all my other stamps, and cross reference them with the Clarity ones. I was able to sit on my hands while I was watching Barbara Gray this week as I already had several of them. Hope the EM has now recovered too, and have a good week. xx Maggie #20

  28. I'll stop in here, but in truth, Elizabeth, I've been up and down scrolling around. I'm sorry about your thumb! I've had that happen in other fingers and, man, does that ever hurt. I'm glad you quickly recovered.

Your LIM card and your Snippets card are both fantastic! Hope you have a great weekend!! Darnell #47
