Thinking of You card

Evening All,

Just a quick post with this card made for a dear friend whose mother died very suddenly this week. It's the first sympathy card I've ever made. Because our friend is male I kept it simple, choosing to make it in white, grey & silver, rather than the more usual white/black combination. There's nothing much to it, an embossed panel matted onto silver card, silver embossed stamping and the grey/silver ribbon threaded through a slit at the side and tied in a knot. For once I've not decorated the inside or the back ... I don't think it is necessary for this card.

Materials used: Neenah Solar white card for base and embossed topper; Cuttlebug Thank You embossing folder; Silver foil card for layering; Stamp from Stampin' Up So Happy for You set; VersaMark ink pad; Silver Embossing Powder; Grey/silver lurex ribbon.

That's me done for the day - I'm off to bed to read for a while.
