One of the inevitable outcomes of the weekly deskhops were the WOYWW crops. I missed the first few, but when I eventually mentioned it to my husband, Alan, he was all for it. So off we went. From Scotland to Llandudno, Wales, in 2017 and Shrewsbury, England, in 2018. Here's a couple of pics from 2017.
Llandudno, hosted by Margaret, Glitter and Glue.
Annie, LLJ and Julia

Shrewsbury, hosted by the two sisters, Annie, Wipso-A Stitch In Time, and Jo, Twiglet .

Lovely times, lovely people, lovely memories.
Whether met virtually or in person, it's been a privilege to get to know so many fabulous and talented WOYWWers.
Of course, it wouldn't be WOYWW if I didn't show a pic of my desk today. It's a different desk in a very different place in totally different circumstances but my intention is to continue deskhopping as often as possible. And hopefully WOYWW will continue under Sarah's watch for many more years to come. And finally, it wouldn't be my WOYWW post without a photo of Silver.
Not so much a crafty cat, more a very naughty one. She did her best all morning to distract me from putting this post together. And now she's curled up on the sofa beside me, out for the count. Typical!Best wishes to all my lovely WOYWW friends, old and new. Have a wonderful week.
Take care everyone
Elizabeth
It's been a blast looking back and I'm so thankful to have been part of this wonderful group for so long....lets hope there's many more eh? I wouldn't have met you without WOYWW so I owe it a lot :-)

I agree, it's been fabulous fun reading back through the archives of 800 weeks. what a great idea Julia had! We certainly had/have fun at the crops and it was lovely that you and Alan could get to a couple. Happy WOYWW 800 and here's to many more. Helen #2
ReplyDeleteIt has been wonderful to meet you via WOYWW. I remember you visiting us in Wiltshire and Alan really enjoyed visiting Crofton Beam Engines with Gordon! Our menfolk have been fab in accompanying us on our various crafting meetups, I think they enjoyed it as much as we did! You’ve been blogging for a long time, it was good to see your earlier post.
ReplyDeleteHappy 800, sending hugs

It's been fabulous seeing everyone's memories and photos Elizabeth. It was so good to meet you and Alan at both those crops. You have been blogging and joining in far longer than I have. Meow to Silver. Hugs and Happy 800th WOYWW. Sarah
ReplyDeleteSo happy I can now comment on your blog and say what a sweetie Silver is. Lovely to see older crop photos, and one that I didn't make it to is even better. I have such FOMO every time :D. Another old timer - I began in 2009, and there aren't too many of us still joining in. I'd miss my weekly fix toooooo much LOL!
ReplyDeletestill recovering but a bit brighter!
