The Woodland Garden

Hello Everyone,

Many thanks for visiting today and for all the lovely comments. Your continued support is much appreciated.

It's not big, our woodland garden. In fact it's very small but it is currently my favourite place to walk. Among all the shrubs are two apple trees - blossom time is over but I can see the promise of fruit to come. And there's my treasured beech tree - brought all the way from the nursery on the banks of Loch Ness - looking fresh and springlike now that it has it's new covering of soft green leaves. The trees are underplanted with bluebells - just going over - ferns and aquilegia. Hidden from view is my secret bench - the best place to go to lift the spirit - even better with a cuppa and a good book, of course.

That's it for today. Hope to be back tomorrow with yet another brief post.

Take care.
