Another Wednesday, another WOYWW - only one more to go before Christmas Day. And so my desk is a bit more messy than of late - I'm still making Christmas cards and any other form of crafting has just had to take a back seat.
And I've dug out a bundle of scraps leftover from previous Christmases. There's also a bunch of pre-made toppers - a gift from a friend - and scraps from inking/stamping sessions. And because they have been around too long already, and taking up too much space, it's time to use what I can and toss the rest. Time to get tough!
It's brief today. Julia will be pleased! And that's because I'm expecting a special little visitor this afternoon. He's mad keen on Paw Patrol so I'm off to make some PP decorated fairy cakes for the occasion.
I hope you are all well and enjoying yourself whatever you're doing. I don't imagine you are baking fairy cakes but I hope it is still something fun.

You've got a right old mix of stuff on your workdesk today! I like the Scottie dogs in the background - what are you going to use them for? The Paw Patrol cakes sound fun, you'll have to show us what they turned out like next week!!

Morning Elizabeth. Yay! Can comment this week!!! - not your fault I couldn't last, but glad I'm able to now! Hope you manage to use up loads of your pre-made and loved little bits. Enjoy making - and eating! - the fairy cakes. No, I'm not doing that... I'm making gift boxes - can't just stick money in an envelope, wanted something to go under the tree for the grandies.

ReplyDeleteI found a whole load of die cuts the other day from Christmas long ago (I took them to a WOYWW crop to work on and they got put in the pile of scraps...) not that I used them this year either.... Have a great week. Helen #1
