First Snowdrops

Morning everyone,

I missed joining in with Cathy's In A Vase On Monday yesterday so I thought I'd share the first snowdrops from the garden.
Dainty little beauties.

There were no snowdrops in the garden when we moved in but slowly over the last four years I've  managed, with some help from Cathy, to introduce them and the numbers have now increased to the point where I can pick a few and not feel guilty.

  3. These are my favourite bulb ever. My snowdrops have been hard to establish at this new house. I had hundreds at my last house and sadly here, my sum total is just barely more than your display.

I have plantedseveral packages of the bulbs only to lose them to critters in the garden or the bulbs are very dry and too light feeling when planted...never a good sign!
This year I went to the nursery to buy a pot of them...but they were very thin...only 4 stems and very weak looking at that. $9.99 for the pot. I [assed them over hoping another nursery may have stronger looking ones.
PS I LOVE this wee blue glass piece.
