WOYWW Week 436

Hello Everyone,

What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday again and once more I'm wondering where the last seven days have gone.
And, in truth, not much has changed on my desk since last week. Out of shot, on the right, is all the stuff I took to the crop still waiting to be put back. The only bit of creativity I've had time to do is a some colouring though this did mean I got to try out the Derwent watercolour pencils and water brushes, brought back from our trip to the Lake District, at last. And very nice they are too. I do, however, have a seriously good reason for any lack of crafting.

Meet Molly, my new crafting companion. As you can see, she's made herself very much at home already - and she only moved in on Friday! I should say, she's not normally so restful but she's tired out after this afternoon's walk. It won't be long before she's awake again and demanding cuddles and play.

She's certainly keeping us on our toes and life won't be quite the same ever again. We are still getting used to her routine - and the complete disruption to ours - but already she's wound us both round her little paws.

That's me done for this week. Short and sweet - just as Julia likes our posts.

Wishing you all a very happy WOYWW and a great week to come.

  2. Hello Elizabeth! I think the weeks go by in such a blur too. Molly is so cute. What kind of dog is she? I am hoping to get a dog next year. It will be so great for my kids. I grew up with pets and I think it will be a wonderful experience for them too.
Have a blessed day! If you have time, stop by my blog:

  3. I agree that it's good to be home, we had a superb day at the Crop and a good journey both ways, but were pleased to see the chickens were ok.
What a delightful doggie, will be excellent company and a good exerciser!

  6. AS you know I’ve no desk to offer this week but I’m trying to call in the say hello to my best blogging buddies. Your little Molly looks to have made herself very much at home and I really hope she proves to be the little companion you hoped for...she’s just gorgeous.
Big hugs from me and big cuddles for Molly too.

  10. Hi Elizabeth. No wonder there is very little time for crafting!! Rather cute, wouldn't you say? Glad you are enjoying your water colour crayons. I love using them - finding them one of the best ways to get gradual colour changes...
    Take care. God bless.

  11. Molly is gorgeous, Elizabeth! They worm their way into your heart so quickly don't they! I'm finding it hard not to spend every waking moment with our kittens but things do have to be done lol! Your colouring is very pretty. I've got the Derwent Inktense pencils which are lovely too. Thank you for your visit - my studio is only organised after I've tidied it! I am very good at creating chaos. Perhaps I could rebrand it as art, and then I wouldn't feel so bad! Thank you for your kind words - my health issues just have to be got through as best as I can and hope for the best! The kittens are very similar, but Lily is larger and has incredibly soft fluffy fur, and she has a grey nose. Ruby has a white nose, and white knee socks at the back, one of which has a little "dirty" grey mark! They are also different in their characters - Lily is the dominant one and less dependent, and Ruby loves a cuddle and has definitely latched on to me! I know I shouldn't have a favourite but I can't help it! Everybody is laughing about the loo roll. I am sure you will have to put up with far worse with Molly - puppies are worse than kittens I think.

    Happy belated WOYWW,

  17. Think you have the perfect excuse for no crafting. Molly is adorable.
Was lovely to meet you at the Crop, hopefully we will meet again. It needs to be a weekend so we spend more time with everyone.
Hugs and sorry I am a week late but the internet here was a bit moody,
