What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday - WOYWW Week 356

Hello WOYWWers and All,

Another Wednesday and another excuse to hop over to the Stamping Ground to join in with Julia's What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday. I would have been here earlier but my computer went on a go slow ... probably an update or something similar going on!

Some of you asked for it so here's my desk at its messiest worst! Bits and bobs galore! Rudolph Day got me dragging out all sorts of stash and it's still there. Centre stage - a pile of inky, painty experiments; to the left - a box of various toppers, under the paper pack, snippets of which were used on the decorated gift bag you can see in my last post, and beyond that yet another pile, paper bags and card blanks ... all needing to be used or tossed.  At the back - a box containing embellishments and journal cards, a tray of handy stuff, a pile of stamps, and boxes of pens, tools, ink pads, punches and stamping blocks. Everything needed for a happy crafter. Everything but the kitchen sink :)

I'd clear it all up but I think there's another card or two in there somewhere :)

Happy WOYWW,

  1. Hi Elizabeth. It's so lovely to catch up with old friends again. I have missed my Wednesday desk visits. I see your beautiful vases on FB each week it reminds me I need to get back among my desk friends.
You certainly look very industrious there. Christmas cards already. I've only just seemed to put all that away!!
Thanks for popping by and your lovely comments.

  2. A brilliant desk this week Elizabeth - but do tell - what exactly do YOU use the kitchen sink for in your crafting? We were using ours to get rid of vast quantities of shaving cream yesterday...
Hope you find the other cards that are "in there"!
    Take care. God bless.

  3. Oh gosh, I had forgotten about Rudolph day! I have it in my mind that that is how I got involved in UKPC, though I can't really remember now. The piles of stuff that might make a card - I think they threaten to overwhelm most craft rooms!! Thanks for your earlier visit, Happy WOYWW Cindy #27

  4. You are the first Rudolph Day lady I've found outside of my Christmas Notebook group! Hard to believe Christmas really isn't that far off in the grand scheme of things. I mean really, There's only one more day of the first quarter of the year! Where does the time go? Sometimes I feel like Alice in Wonderland LOL Creative Blessings! Kelly #44

  7. Yay, it's good to see your desk au naturel, so to speak!! I love that you have so many bits and pieces on show, that must mean you've been in full on crafting mode πŸ’•πŸ˜ƒ. Hope you've been enjoying yourself. I got quite a bit done during the vile weather over the weekend and didn't feel guilty at all, as the rain outside meant I couldn't do the gardening jobs that needed doing. Yahoo 🌺🌷🌻

  11. Looks like a pile of creativity going on. My desk is only clean in spots and that's only cause I've scraped it off into boxes in the floor. Lol
    Have a great day.

  15. Good evening and I don't think it is that early to make Christmas cards at all cause everyone knows when that holiday comes around busy is a understatement. The little paper pad is so very cute I have never seen that one and I have a hoard of paper lol. Sometimes I wish I had the kitchen sink closer cause clean up would be so easier giggle giggle. Have a fantastic week Hugs~Anne L#3

  18. What would we do if we had a clear space? Need to have things out and about to get inspired ! Have a truly lovely weekend. I'm excited as forecast is 60's SUNSHINE and maybe we can get rid of mud, the dampness and gloomy days.

  20. All kinds of interesting and fun things on your craft area! But most interesting is the fact on the side you say you are in Ayr. I was there about a year ago! Loved it. I was on a bus tour, and we had several hours there. I walked from the clock to where Robert Burns statue, and back. I found a great cemetery in back of a church beside the Ayr river. Just loved it all! I however couldn't find a scrapbook shop. :)
Thanks for the peek. Happy late WOYWW. #66
