What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday - Week 318

Happy Wednesday Fellow Deskers,

Whoops! And another week has zipped by. Time to report to our Head Desker, Julia, for another What's On Your Work Wednesday.

Some progress on last week, but admittedly not much. Since last week the flock of birds, twenty-one in all, have been cut out of fabric and pressed on to the base fabric which has a pretty dragonfly pattern on it; the photos are still there from last week but I have pulled out a few papers with a view to scrapping them; the crochet cover is growing too - all blues and greens for a boy.

So that's my desk today. All I need is to find some time to do something crafty. Anything crafty would be nice! But when the sun comes out, and being mindful of the need for the Sunlight Vitamin (vitamin D) at my advanced age, I'm spending as much time as possible catching a few rays before it turns to liquid sunshine ... we've had a lot of that recently :(

However, right now I'm off to join the EM for a spot of lunch, then I'll be back.

Have a great day everyone,

  1. HI Elizabeth, and hugs to The Boss! Love your projects, and totally agree with your sentiment about enjoying the sun. We see so little of it, it's a shame to waste a moment. On holiday, I told our hotel owner, when he asked how we'd enjoyed out first day,' we've seen more sunshine today than we normally see for a whole month back home, so it's been lovely', lol.Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz#10 xxx

  2. There's never quite enough time to do the things we want to do when we want to do it is there Elizabeth?....I keep being disturbed by customers today [ so inconsiderate of them isn't it? :-) :-) ].

  9. Hey, I have to agree with Jan --- the colours on the chevron crochet are supercalifragilistic !!!! ('Course, I tell everybody everywhere that blue is my favourite colour, so I love every creation in blue) You have done a great job of that crochet --- mine have always turned out wrong.
Thanks for your visit. Happy WOYWW

  14. Of course you want to take in some sun vitamines. Please show us some photos of your garden. (I assume that is where you have been spending your time).
I love the colours of the crochet you are doing for the boys. I hope you can get something done this week. But by all means enjoy the good weather. In your neck of the woods you don't get enough of it at the best of time.
Thanks for popping by earlier, I'm sorry, I'm ever so late!
    Have a good week,

  16. Lots of rain here, too. Now that front has moved on and we are left with sunshine and high heat indexs. It is summer, after all. Go you on getting your birds all cut out. What a task, eh? Creative BLessings! Kelly #41
