Friday Smile - Week 114

Evening Everyone,

What with one thing and another I've been busy today so this is the first chance I've had to sit down and put together my Friday Smile for Annie post!

It's also been rather a special day too ... my lovely friend, Ruth, and her equally lovely boyfriend, Steven, announced their engagement today :) Here's a photo of the couple showing off the ring.
Totally delighted at the news.

Sorry, no joke today but I thought those of you who are grandmothers might appreciate this little cartoon. Know the feeling illustrated, if not the wreckage, but wouldn't have missed the experience of having grandchildren over for the world :)

I hope you have enjoyed my smiles this week and will link yours over at Annie's so we can all share your happy moments too.

Keep Smiling,

  1. Congrats to the lovely couple!
I know how it feels to be like the cartoon.... but I would rather have the mess and see mine more often, wouldn't you?

  2. That cartoon makes me smile every time I see it....I just love the tornado like chaos when the little ones come.....and the peace when they go is just deafening :-)
    Congrats to your friends.
    Hugs,

  4. Morning Elizabeth, happy Friday and enjoy your weekend. An engagement is definitely something to smile about and I too can relate to the cartoon luckily so far Sophie is still a toddler who I am enjoying immensely. Hugs Robyn

  5. I agree with you about the grand children. Tehy can be exhausting, but I wouldn´t be without mine either.
