Hello Everyone,
Happy WOYWW to you all ... time to snoop around and check out what my fellow crafters are all up to, if anything ... I believe the great fire ball in the sky has made an appearance down south tempting you all outdoors.
In fact, I have heard someone to say it was too hot to be near the computer! I wish!!! Up here in the northern climes we have a return of grey skies :(
Back to the workdesks ... time to hop over to Julia's place, the Stamping Ground - just click the WOYWW logo on the sidebar to do this - and be transported around the world on a desk-shaped adventure.
Here's mine ... photo taken near midnight Tuesday so won't look any different Wednesday morning.
I've been putting together a scrap layout and now it's finished this is the fall-out!
Two plastic folders, one with sheets of alphas ... that's a Bo Bunny one you can see on the top ... and the other with fairly sizeable scraps from 12"x12" sheets of paper. I keep the larger leftovers together in this folder whilst the smaller snippets, lying to the right, go into a separate box.
Under those are two sheets of design paper that I considered using for the layout but then changed my mind, so they will have to be filed back where they came from.
Also out are some Kiwi Lane templates ... my favourite template supplier ... and a pair of small scalloped edge scissors. When these came free with a craft magazine a few months ago, I put them away thinking I'd never use them, indeed, might even pass them on to my granddaughter ... I've used them twice in as many days this week because the scallop they create is a great wee size!
The two strips lying near the coaster are there to remind me of the materials used in the layout. The lovely die-cut flourish lying to the left was a gift from Chris, a crafting buddy :)
I'll be looking for that phone in the morning.
It has just struck midnight, so time for this Cinderella to hit the hay. Will visit as many of you as possible tomorrow or, failing that, over the coming days.
I wish you all a wonderful day wherever you are.
Happy crafting,
Lve the colours on the papers ,they look yummy! Trace x 9

That's a very tidy desk....
ReplyDeleteSorry you're not sharing in the heat - but you can have my share as I don't like it...lol! Helen, 6
I have that flourish and can confess to over using it - it's a great one! Like the snippets, can only mean it's a lovely LO too, gorgeous colours, as usual from you! Scallop edge scissors are one of my must haves..amazing isn't it though, how a 'freebie' can become such a 'needed' tool!
ReplyDeleteMorning Cinderella! Those Bo Bunny papers are rather lovely... looking forward to seeing your layout. It has been raining here for two days now but is still humid. Ah well, at least we had two days of sunshine! Hope you had a lovely weekend. Happy WOYWW! Victoria no.25

You have some beautiful paper and goodies on your desk. It's cold and yukky at the southern end of the world today too, so I share your pain with the weather. Hope the sun comes out for you.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.

Good morning Elizabeth, I finally got here. Life has been hectic since I hosted out get together at the weekend!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful selection from you since my last visit.
I'm afraid it's been too hot here for me, it washes me out completely but I am pleased to say that so far this morning the heat is not quite so intense! :o)

Lovely Bo Bunny papers - sorry you don't have the blue skies. I love the brighter warmer weather but unfortunately it has caused me to be suffering from prickly heat again. Sorry to be so late visiting. Anne x
ReplyDeleteGreat colours - love bo bunny! Sorry for the late visit. It is miserable here - no sun but hot and clammy in the north east of england! jenx
ReplyDeleteHi Elizabeth, I love those papers that are left over, so many gorgeous butterflies, they are beautiful. Your EM was 11 at the last Olympics (how fantastic to experience two!), my OH was 6 but he does not really remember much. I am making the most of this one, for sure. thanks for your visit earlier, I am still making my way round, albeit very slowly! Anne x
ReplyDeleteHi Elizabeth - love the scrapping fall-out but where oh where is the resulting page? I guess it is a secret for a design team so we'll get to see it in due course. I am right - you are the same Elizabeth as now on UKPC, the different e-mail addresses completely threw me - LOL. BJ #155 <- how late is that? and internet still on the blink!! Ho Hum...
ReplyDeleteThose snippets, the alpha page on top and the other bit and bobs are making me impatient to see the layout...hope you reveal all soon!
ReplyDeleteThose butterflies on that paper are truly beautiful. Cant wait to see what you do with them. Thanks for the visit to my blog and also for the info on what you put on the inside your cards. Its been great to hear what everyone does. Sandy :)
ReplyDeleteThere's some lovely bits and pieces on your desk Elizabeth (or should that be Cinderella?)
ReplyDeleteI love the colours but don't forget to show us the end result will you? ;D
Have a wonderful weekend ~ enjoy

All the makings for a wonderful layout I can see, also love that Kanban Rose card in the former post, beautiful and yes you can see the glitter on it.
ReplyDeleteOh and yes it is a camelia japonica tree in my bay window, planted by my grandfather over 45 years ago.
Thanks for visiting me.

Wow! Your desk is so neat and tidy considering you just did a layout! ...Unlike mine that looks like a tornado hit it from just making one little bitty card!!
