WOYWW 163 - ink pads everywhere

Good Morning Everyone

It's another What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday ... time to pop over to see Julia, head desk-keeper, over at The Stamping Ground - click the WOYWW logo over in the left sidebar - for the not-to-be-missed opportunity to peek at other folk's workspaces.

Before I reveal the state of my desk, I must apologise to all my fellow WOYWWers for my lack of commenting last week. Because the EM and I share everything, he gave me his cold!

As a result, I really didn't get around to many desks - and I'm still one degree under but hope to do better this week.

On to the desk.

Another mess - the detritus from the ATCs I've been making - tons of ink pads, half of which I didn't use, but got them out just in case, several pieces of foam, a bottle of rock candy distress stickles, and a couple of gem wheels :)

Almost out of site on the left is a box of embossed card and behind everything is a pile of magazines waiting to be sorted out.

In front of that is the final ATC - there's an other one around somewhere, it just didn't make it into the shot. There was five inked backgrounds so there's five ATCs - I've never made so many before!

And right at the front is a packet of my preferred cold remedy tablets - caffeine free - caffeine makes me jittery! This week these have been a vital part of my crafting and non-crafting arsenal :))

A close up of the ATC. The stamp set is Sweet Dreams by Art Journey.

Right, I'm off ... need to get my head down for an hour or two but will be back later to visit as many of you as I can.

In the meantime, I wish you all a lovely WOYWW.

Happy Crafting,

  14. Hi Elizabeth thanks for popping by. Glad to hear you are on the mend - Yay to the cold remedy for helping us through! Seems we had a similar sewing career except I made boys sailors suits instead of girls dresses (my eldest doesn't like reminding of that! He looked so cute though!!) WOYWW Hugs from Helen 18

  22. Your ATC is fabulous; great colours and beautiful composition. But on my blog you said your desk wasn't tidy. I'm sorry, but to me it looks amazing. I'm trying to be tidy, but I'll always be messy at heart, and I mean pile it a foot high messy!

Thank you for stopping by and being lovely.

  24. I know what you man, Elizabeth, although it was me with the cold last week that shared it so I'm keeping quiet. These Summer colds are worse than the Winter ones I think. I hope you feel better really soon. How's the feet???
You have lots of inks in action there and so organised. When mine are in use they are all over the place. Those gem wheels are great aren't they and so economical. I've had mine for ages and although some of the colours are now getting a bit low they just seem to keep on giving.
    Happy WOYWW

I've only ever made 3 ATC's which I swapped and quite enjoyed making them so if you'd like to swap with me at any time just holler.

  33. You weren't joking Elizabeth, you do have a lot of inkpads on your desk! Hope your cold is easing up, nice of your husband to share! Thanks very much for your kind words re the ribbon holders, so much for him to think about! His problem is he likes to make the stuff but doesn't want to put the effort in to sell them!! We have some ideas and will see how it goes.
