Good Evening to you all,
This week's card's colours are white, silver and red. There was a lot of measuring and guillotining for this card as there is quite a few matting layers. The main feature is the embossed pearlescent topper using a new embossing folder which has some of the many phrases associated with Christmas on it.
The insert is another altered digital one from Bearly Mine Designs.
Materials used:
- Cardstock: Papermill Direct - White Hammered C2 (base); Payper Box - Silver Mirror; Silver Embossed; Black/White Snowflake (matting layers)
- Paper: Super Smooth Matt Paper (insert); Bearly Mine Design - Christmas Inserts #40
- Embellishments: Red satin ribbon & square red gems (from stash)
And as usual I'm rushing at the last minute - it's been another busy week. I'm entering this card for the usual challenges:
Snoflakes Christmas Card Challenge on
Docrafts.
Happy Crafting
What a beautiful card, Elizabeth - glad you got it here in time - love all the layers and the embossing. And what a bonus that insert is - very classy. Thanks for joining in my CHNC challenge 12. I'm just preparing challenge 13 for tomorrow - look forward to seeing what you do for that (it's an easy peasy one!) x

ReplyDeleteGreat card Elizabeth.... Super insert. I have informed my hubby this morning that we are going to be crossing the scots border for an adventure. He did look at me a bit odd as we swore we would never go to Scotland again after the last time.... We made the mistake of coming in January which I hear is the worst time to come. We were living on a budget as we were students and we nearly froze to death. You have painted a picture of such a magical place that I am going to give it another try. Saving my pennies now for our adventure and then I wil be asking you loads of questions about where to go. Good luck with your challenges.
