Yes, finally here's the ten cards I made using the instructions for the 'One Sheet Wonder for 10 Cards' I discovered online. It all started with me catching a YouTube demo (it's in two parts) given by Carlene of pinkscrapper99, showing how she made her cards using the diagram. As I was short the kind of essential little cards, such as 'Thank You' and 'Just a Note' cards, that are so useful to have a supply of, I decided to have a go at making my own.
Materials used:
- Cardstock in the following colours: black, white, kraft, yellow, pink, peach; gold, silver, bronze for matting greetings.
- Design paper: The Sweet Shop Collection by American Crafts; The Sunny Bay Collection by Kiki Art (free from Scrapbook Magazine) and some scraps from my stash.
- Embellishments: ribbon, trims, Prima flowers, gems, flat-backed pearls, die cuts, sequin butterflies all from my stash.
- Inserts: white photocopy paper trimmed to size and with the corners chomped.
The easy to follow instructions are available in pdf format here. This was fun to do and I'm pleased to have a useful set of cards in my arsenal!
If you want to see how different the cards can look depending on the design paper and embellishments used please visit Kimberley Morris at Procrastistamper where you will see a couple of different sets of cards.
Hope this has been of use to you. I'm now off to work on my never-ending to-do list and try another technique or two over the next few days.
