Hope you had a great weekend and Monday hasn't come as too much of a shock to the system. I was up during the night cleaning up after The Boss. She's bothered with hairballs every now and again :( So I'm not firing on all cylinders today. In fact, I've spent too much time vegging out in front of the TV watching C&C's Paper Clinic. Still, I did learn something new so the day hasn't been entirely wasted.
Anyway on to the cards - I actually made these last week but didn't get round to posting them but I'm working my way down my 'to-do' list so here they are now. Both cards are simple little note cards - I use lots of note cards - and, keeping to my intention to use up my horde of stash before treating myself to any more, they are made using materials I've had forever :)
Firstly, another card using my shaving foam marbled paper:
This time I've used the marbled paper as a frame for the embossed centrepiece.
The cupcake toppers have been in my stash for eons so it was time I found a use for them.
Materials used:
Mint green pearlescent card for base; handmade marbled card using shaving foam and Cosmic Shimmers; embossing folder and greeting stamp free with Creativity Magazine; insert made from digital paper, Simply Dots by Bearly Mine Design, digitally punched and printed on to plain white copy paper; toppers, flat-backed pearls and gems from stash.

The second card is made from a 3 page freebie I downloaded from I can't remember where exactly!
Edited note: this Daisy and Dandelion decoupage download was from the Docrafts site (thanks Hazel for the reminder)
Materials used: Daisy and Dandelion freebie which included one decoupage sheet and two co-ordinating design papers. Other materials used: Kraft card stock for base; paw printed tape; Woodware border punch for lilac trim; white copy paper for insert.
The decoupage was easy to cut out and assemble - well, it would have to be for me because I find it painful handling scissors for too long so try to avoid decoupage but this was cute and I thought the images appealing.
Now, back to my 'to-do' list which seems to be extensive today - sigh!
Two very pretty cards Elizabeth; the D&D download was from Docrafts 'cos it was one that I downloaded too, my first download and decoupage! Hazelx
