Hello Everyone
Last week Silver wasn't too well so had to visit the vet and that meant I had to miss What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday. The vet advised a complete change of diet. Her health has improved, though the change of food has had to be introduced very slowly. She knows what she likes.
So what is on my desk this week. Hmm, it's looking really very boring. It's the dining table again though I'll be moving back to the craft desk now that I've completed Shimelle's Clear the Desk Live Autumn Edition classes and no longer need to be able to use the laptop. That pile of pages you see there are waiting to have journaling added. Once that's done I will be able to file them away into the appropriate albums.
Here's the last few pages in the final class.
Pumpkin Carving
Follow Your Dreams
Enjoying Meeting the Skeleton
Oh Creepy
Did I really 'clear the desk' as was the intention of the course. No, I did not! But it was fun trying. I will continue working on the leftover papers over the next few weeks in the vain hope that I'll use every last one up.
Last year I decided that what I wanted was not a Christmas tree but an all the year round one. I chose this little white one which lights up. So far it's had decs for winter, spring and summer. Normally, I would skip Halloween but my daughter had other ideas. She's recently discovered
diamond painting and made this set of spooky ornaments for my wee tree. I love them.
After all the heat of summer the weather here has taken a real downturn. It's so cold. This was the view I had of the beach yesterday morning as I waited at the bus stop on the way to my volunteering job. Grim, isn't it. It started raining soon after and it kept up all day. Winter isn't on it's way. It's here already.
Finally, there's no post without Silver. I snapped her cute paws as she was making her presence felt while I scrapped. She's such an attention seeker.
That's me for this week. As usual, if you don't already do so, I urge you to join in with WOYWW. You can do this by clicking on this link,
Stamping Ground, where you will be made most welcome.
Take care and have a fabulous week.
Elizabeth

Sounds as though the vet has sorted the problem with Silver which is good. I think most of our animal friends are quite demanding. My girl dog often sits behind me when I'm at the desk and when she gets fedup with not getting any attention she kicks me on the leg until I turn round. Love your new journal pages too. Wishing you a happy woyww. Hugs Angela x7x
ReplyDeleteOoooo the Follow your dreams page is super, the photos capture the moment perfectly, love the little white tree. Personally love the rain, can't get enough here. Those are indeed cute paws I must say.

I love the Halloween LOs and your little tree decs are perfect. Our weather has been a bit grim but now we have bit of late afternoon sunshine - still breezy and chilly though. I love Silver's little paws.x x Jo π
ReplyDeleteOh I’m with Silver, I know what I like and a change of diet would be disconcerting, even when it’s for your own good! Bless her little paws, I’m very glad she’s on the mend though. Your ‘clear the desk’ course has been very satisfying hasn’t it, you’ve made a ton of lovely LOs - even a pile like that waiting for journaling on is very satisfactory!
ReplyDeleteI hope Silver adapts to her new diet! I do like the tree, and it is a great idea tohave one you can alter with the seasons. Fabulous LO's to. Happy WOYWW Helen #1
ReplyDeletePoor Silver! I’m glad she’s on the mend and hope the new diet isn’t too painful for her or you! You did a fab job with the clearing the desk LOs, you’re always so inventive π₯°. I love your tree with the Halloween decorations on, they’re great fun!

I’m sorry to hear Silver wasn’t feeling well. Cat diets are tricky, as they definitely know what they like. Your scrapbook pages are delightful, and really like the Halloween ornaments your daughter made. Happy WOYWW!

Sorry your pussy hasn´t been well, good luck with the change in diet, if I gave mine a new diet they just sat and looked at me as if to say ´what´s this´. Our weather here in Spain has certainly cooled down this last week, but there are still holidaymakers on the beach and in the sea makes me shiver. I love the idea of your year round tree, make consider it as I cannot be bothered to put a Christmas tree up. Craftyani
